Whalepass Jam Result: "Where dreams take flight" is ranked #1 by the judges!
Post-jam comment: "The mix of 2D and 3D was quite challenging to implement, but it was really instructive (I love Godot) and the result is interesting. I spent so many hours making this game for a 4+1 day-long jam - I had some very short nights - but it is quite worth it. I really wanted this video game to reflect the way I was playing when I was a child: creating an imaginary world from real toys and seeing all objects as weapons - well, except the rubber duck actually."

Nice game, love the graphics and 2D/3D blend, and like how the plane goes up towards the screen at the upper edge because the child's arm is not long enough and the smoke at 1 HP, and love how the weapons share their bonuses, and great music. And I'm proud to say I beat the game! But I'm not done yet, still have to reach highest level (only 40 minutes played, level 6 out of 7).
p.s. I have another minor bug compared to my GameJam comment, only with the base Wooden Plane, only with the canons on the lowest position, when the plane is lowest on the screen the bullet hits the wall, this doesn't seem to happen with other planes or other weapons on the lower weapon slot with the wooden plane. Collision because the circles are slightly larger because of the damage buff on canons on the wooden plane?
Incredible and very charming! I'm happy to see more and more people using Godot in their projects!
